Re: Ranger... special photos for his fan club!

These are not so bad but the pup ones they are very dark on both my PC and the laptop. Can see the dogs on these but they merg into the background, I am unable to see where the dog stops and the background starts. To be honest they seem brighter now than they did earlier, guess that is because it is now dark outside.

Your dog is stunning and I say that loads but I genuinely mean it and the pictures you take look professional. And can you come round and teach me how to use my camera as I am just not getting it.

Re: Ranger... special photos for his fan club!

Thanks kcjack

He's not my dog, he is lovely though The pictures were taken in the woods so there was a high amount of shaddow and to a certain extent faded into black naturally hence why they are so dark. I managed to brighten up the face a little without over exposing it but other than that there is very little done to the image and they are pretty much out of the camera.

They are all taken in manual mode on the camera as AV mode was really blowing out the highlights

Hey Sam - they do seem a touch dark, particually the pup ones. Howver they are quite bright on my laptop??!! Have you check the histogram to see if they are underexposed?

Re: Ranger... special photos for his fan club!

They probably will be a bit under exposed as they were taken in poor light and the pups were under a shelter and the photos were taken at dusk so not much light either, i don't like using my flash with the dogs as it sometimes distracts them from being natural.
