Dorothy Clive Gardens
We visited the Dorothy Clive Gardens, yesterday.
The story behind the gardens is that Mr. Clive's wife, Dorothy, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Mr Clive decided to have these gardens built so that his wife would have somewhere pleasant to walk while her health deteriorated.
Originally started in the Quarry Garden, these gardens have been added to and now cover 12 acres.
With plenty of these about.

With plenty of nooks and crannies to explore.
