Re: In the field

LOL MS, was not commenting on the quantity, I was enjoying them. I think that some of the so called point and shoot or intermediate cameras are amazing they are so flexible and some record very good images. Don't know your particular camera but have just bought a Nikon P80 to take with me when I don't want to take a camera bag and I am amazed at is capabilities. Also have a very small Pentax Optio which is really a pocked cam but my fingers find it a bit too small for comfort these days.

Re: In the field

Thanks Jols

Snapper-This little camera in so tiny, I can pop it into my jeans pocket
It isn't very good for the dogs though I have tried taking my Oly out with them, but as you have seen Meg is usually filthy, plus having to hold onto both of them to get there, and back, plus two kids, I have my hands full without fretting over my camera It is better than I thought, I have been fiddlingwith the settings, and trying out the different modes, I didn't realise till last night I can alter the exposure etc.
Thank you x

Re: In the field

They are more difficult to adjust and you sometimes need to go to a menu where on a SLR it would be at your fingertips but they are very flexible. I just find the tiny camera too difficult, often need to turn it on with my teeth these days and I often miss the shutter release button altogether so I have more of less handed it to my OH for his fishing trips.
