The weather lately has not been good for photography but really like the 1st one, like the way it is composed with the house being in the top right, great set

I love numbers 2 and 7. think the style shot is ace, moody sky, bleak landscape, love it!

I was gonna say they had that hdr feel to them - the giveaway is the glow around the tree in 7

I like some of your work SK, you have done some impressive stuff. As a walker/photographer myself, and having gone out the last two weeks and covered many miles across the countryside without much at all, I think on this occasion you have made the best of a day out. Had the light been a little different it would have been better but I would have walked past most of those shots on that day. You could go back to that area another day and it would be so different.

Although not your best work, they show technical competence by the way of exposure and composition, I feel as though the HDR treatment lacks any real umph with the shots. There is a fair degree of halo-ing where sky meets earth and a lack of contrast. Coincide this with overcast skies, they apear dull and lifeless - not cr@ppy or amaturish, more of a misjudged PP proccess, which even the most qualified photographer can do!
Stan have you tried to up the colour and contrast to achieve a more full of life boost or are the shots more of a feeling for the sombre mood of the weather that day?
