In what way?

Other than the toning etc its as shot, the footsteps are mine obviously but no cloning or any other fakery.

Re: Light Footsteps

I like it, and wouldn't have thought edited if I'm honest! I do think the sky is a little dark for my tastes, but the idea is a lovely one, and it's a really nice shot, with pretty decent treatment! Well done.

Re: Light Footsteps

It doesn't strike me as 'over edited' at all although the sky has gone a bit grainy.

Megapixels seems to be very 'last season' and the new 'must have' in DSLR's is amazing ISO levels for noise free images.

With any trend there's a backlash and whilst we all strive for clarity - people are now adding noise to re-create 'film' grainy black and white.

With that in mind I really like it - another option would have been to have the lighthouse much bigger (get closer) and have just a few footprints ?

Re: Light Footsteps

Mmm I recognise that lighthouse

Great shot, love the moodiness, because, it really is that bleak there, on a cold winters day.

I like the processing, I like a bit of graininess in Mono, I feel it works better
