Peregrine Falcon
None of this guy flying I'm afraid. Not quite ready for that 
The Peregrine, like other falcons will smash into or rake their prey with specially adapted elongated toes. Capable of reaching speeds in excess of 200mph it's considered to be the fastest animal on the planet.
Being lower down I managed to clone all the clutter from the background on this one.

Super detailed photo of a Peregrine Falcon Phil. I was fortunate last year to wittness a Peregrine Falcon diving for it's prey at a fish hathery at Bonneville Dam. They are amazing creatures as they tuck their wings in to increase speed and decrease drag.
