Re: Iraq

20 years as a continental/roving trucker myself, eating out of Café Camion every day, sleeping in the Iveco Hotel every night...I love those shots, they bring back memories of how truck driving was when it was crossing frontiers, not just a daily milkround.

Did I mention I wrote a best-selling* book about it?

* It sold better than my other two... :P

Re: Iraq

A lovely insight into life then. Very interesting looking at the social history.

Re: Iraq

Great stuff.

It's funny how (even without car models or clothing styles) you can tell roughly when images were taken from the photograph itself.
