Re: Critique Reqd.

At first i was going to put up the second one, but after reading through the comments ive sent in the first, its got more happening with the Bokeh, something i like of course with both under and over exposure evident its got plenty faults. must add my other photo is more conventional.

Will let you all know how it went as critique night is next week.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Re: Critique Reqd.

Just an update, the Critique Night was held last night, a club member volunteered to practice critique of members photos. We all submitted images and the exif data was stripped away so our judge had only the image to work on.

He had a couple of weeks to decide of what he had to say before his presentation. A very enjoyable evening was held, and after each critique the rest of us chipped in and it was enlightening as to how others saw an image and a good deal of banter ensued.

As for the image of the shed, it provoked a good response, discussion ranged from the creative, artistic, side to the obvious technical shortcomings of the image.

regards brian.
