A few days away in Langthwaite, Arkengarthdale, N Yorkshire.

We had a fantastic few days away with wonderful weather and scenery. We had no TV reception, very, very poor radio reception, no broadband and no mobile reception. Bliss. Some of the shots may not be the best eg the Ring Ouzel but given the light and distance I was very pleased.

Thanks Mark, had a lovely time. Took hundreds of shots, took ages to look at them and dispose of a lot of the poorer shots.

Otta, Ken and Mossy many thanks for the kind comments. I saw my first Ring Ouzel last year in the same valley. I was determined to get a photo this year, although it was a distant one. There is a lot of moorland!
