Meekat (NOT the usual pose)

This is the second photo I have posted.
The first was the Vulture in the Birds thread and I had some great feedback to improve the image.
I just hope I get the same quality feedback for this picture.
Many thanks in advance..

Re: Meekat (NOT the usual pose)

I really like it, I like how it's looking into the light and all the space on the right.

Should I Re-Size When Uploading Pics

Thank you very much....
This picture and the Vulture picture posted in the Birds thread are full size jpegs.
Should I resize the pictures to fit the screen or smaller, or should I continue to upload full size.
I was a bit concerned when I uploaded them that 5MB+ files would soon use up your servers resources.
Maybe some guidelines could be published on file size limits.
Regards
Clive

Re: Meekat (NOT the usual pose)

800x600 should be your max clive, speeds things up a bit

Re: Meekat (NOT the usual pose)

Resizing might be a good idea, it can put people off viewing if they have to wait ages for the image to resize with the resizer.

Lovely image of a Meerkat though, I think the quality has been altered by the forum resizer, so it's best to do it yourself, before you show it on here

Re: Meekat (NOT the usual pose)

They do take an age to load at that size - then they just switch to smaller anyway.

I've read the whole thread, typed this reply, scrolled back up to view the image and only about a third of it has appeared so far.

Re: Meekat (NOT the usual pose)

Definitely try to resize to about 800 at the longest length before uploading
