Re: Daisy Nook Country Park

Well it was worth it just for number 4 - really like that one.

The D300 is very robust, wouldn't surprise me if it's fine let us know how it is - do you have camera insurance?

Re: Daisy Nook Country Park

Hello,

I like the second one, the boquet is a nice touch. I would have liked to seen a much longer exposure, to get the running water more silky and flat, but as you have used an HDR (by the look of it) I guess thats a bit tricky

The fourth shot is my favorite, I like the log in the water, the water it'self is very nice too, very calm and gives a sense of peace, even though that dripping water might have made a racket.

I like the brickwork, nice detail, although I think the darker bricks do look a bit 'blue' to me?

Very nice shots though, must have been a nice day, all be it slightly ruined by dropping ones cam, hope it's okay.

Alan.

Re: Daisy Nook Country Park

I like the drama of number 4 also. It's tricky to expose correctly for a shot with bright light showing through the bridge too - well done for not being blow out there. Saying that - would I be right to assume these are multiple exposed shots anyway (that would obviously remove that problem).

Nevertheless - a good picture. I'm not that wild on the others if I'm honest; I think the HDR thing adds too much detail into the picture making it overly busy.

What's the story behind the roses?

Re: Daisy Nook Country Park

Number 4 for me too.

I really like the curve of the bridge. It somehow 'envelops' you, giving the impression of being 'in' the picture rather than just looking at it.

As for the others.

1 - There's some fab shapes and angles that could be explored in this location. I think you could could get half a dozen or so different views - the bridge is certainly crying out to be made more of although I can see whay you've chosen this viewpoint as the foreground is good.

2- Not that keen on this one. It's obviously a personal thing but there's nothing that really stands out as being a particularly intresting focal point.

3 - A bit like number 1. There's some nice things to explore in this one. Not sure what I'd have done differently other than perhaps move to the right to get the stream coming towards the camera.

Re: Daisy Nook Country Park

Some great shots here, especially like the last shot as the brick work is amazing and the log in the water adds to the shot.

I do think that the second shot is an excellent shot and the flowers make it.

All shots are well composed, good work
