Farnborough Air Show 2012
As I only live a few miles from Farnborough most of the displays for the air show come right over our house so I was able to go outside yesterday and get a few pictures. These were shot handheld with a non-IS lens so not all of them are as sharp as they could be. I managed to whittle the 977 photos I took down to 30, but I won't post all of them here. Instead, I'll post a few of my favourites. Sadly for a large part of the day the sky was overcast but there were some periods of blue skies, as my sunburned head will testify.

Well done, with those overcast skies it difficult not to end up with silhouettes.

I admit I'm a big fan of XH558 so purely for that the Vulcan shot is my favourite

Nice to see these, may go to Sunderland Airshow this weekend if the weather is decent. Great to see the Vulcan, use to see them in the 60`s heading to Otterburn training ranges.
