Church Bits - Trying out my new Bargain Bucket Lens!

Picked up a Canon 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 in the week, which is a circa EF 1990 manufacture

Reviews of it are pretty good, so I thought for the money I'd give it a whirl and see how it performed on the 5Dc I have. Here's the first efforts I've managed. Being mainly a prime kind-of-guy it's been a while since I've shot anything with a zoom lens!

Re: Church Bits - Trying out my new Bargain Bucket Lens!

I am a serious fan of B&W, that first shot is truly beautiful. I like wood at its most natural, second to that I love wood portrayed in B&W it does something wonderful to the grain.

cheers Marion

A very nice set, the B & W suites them.

Nicely done.

That's a nice focal range on a FF body too.

Re: Church Bits - Trying out my new Bargain Bucket Lens!

I love the contrast of the wood and the metal in number one. Well seen and well portrayed in monochrome.
