Lovely shots, that lens is a beaut.
How are you getting on with it not having a zoom facility? I started off on prime lenses then moved to zooms for their convenience, but there is no doubt about the superior quality of primes.

Only tested it once properly. I will only use it when after birds or going out to use it specifically for distance work or maybe some macro. The zoom will be my feet. LOL

Nikon 300mm/f4 with a Nikon 1.4X teleconverter. Equal to approx 630mm on Nikon D5100.

f5.6 with teleconverter but still quick on autofocus. I think/hope it is going to give me a lot of fun.

Crop factor of Nikon is 1.5X.
