Canada Geese

I was wondering what you guys thought of this pic? Its straight off the camera. Are the colours too bright, could I improve the composition? Thanks.

Re: Canada Geese

Nice shot Polo

I'd say it's a little bit dark? Could do with the levels sorting in photoshop perhaps?
With regards to composition, I'm not keen on the green weedy thingys as they fight for attention

But other than that it's a nice unusual capture

Re: Canada Geese

Like Azz says, a little dark but easily fixed on the old photomangle

I like the mirror image of them, might have been nice to get the reflections in the water to get another set of mirrors.

Nice shot, I like it.

Re: Canada Geese

I too find it a bit dark, did you manage any with the heads in view? I would like to see one of those. See what Azz means about the weed but with wild creatures you sometimes have no option, it is a case of take it or the moment has passed. Have a go with the levels in your image manipulator and let us see what you have managed to achieve, may be even the desirable reflections.

Re: Canada Geese

Hi Snapper, here's one with a head in view. Its been lightned too. The only thing is, I'm not too good at using the software . Shame I didn't let a bit more in the bottom of the frame

Could I have a C&C on this too please?

Re: Canada Geese

Thank you for acting on my request, nice to see a whole goose. It looks so much better that bit lighter and you do have the beginnings of a reflection. You have realised you need a bit more at the bottom to allow for the reflection so I don't think you require a CC you have done it for yourself.
