Lovely shots Phil! Adore Goldcrests - beautiful little birds, and very very hard to photograph, you've nailed these!

Yes, definitely both Goldcrest and Firecrest are smaller than Wrens, and also, I think that Goldcrest is smaller than Firecrest. Also, I am not sure I'd say Firecrest would be a British bird, rather a scarce migrant. Goldcrest is the smallest bird in Europe!

Or...isn't that part of photographing Goldcrests? Is it just me?
