Welcome to the new YoP Photo of the Month competition

Winners will be posted in this section with a shiny badge at the beginning of every month - so keep an eye out, and if you're lucky enough to get a placing, feel free to download the image with the badge to show off to the rest of the world

We decided on this new competition after getting feedback about our old 'Topic of the Month' competition (which is now archived here). We wanted to remove any barriers of entry, so thought why not make it as simple as just posting on the forums!

How do I enter?

Easy - just post your photos on the forums as you normally would

How are the winners chosen?

A panel of judges nominate photographs throughout the month (in a special private area on the site) - then at the end of the month we all get together and decide which photo/s win.

What if I don't want to participate?

Just go to your control panel options and set the option for the Photo of the Month participation field to 'no'
