Re: My daily photos!

Nice idea! The green is barely visible tho

You could always paint the soldier green - all of mine used to be green

Re: My daily photos!

Okay, this one's an ego trip, I confess.

Green, Small is Beautiful, Book, Black and White.

What the heck do I know about books?

So:

A book about some bloke driving trucks, and some drivel about black holes. But the background is a nice green, and there's only a small yet perfect section of the two books.

Can't quite make out the name of the writer.,. Oh, some unknown bloke, Gaz Hunter?
Never heard of him...

Re: My daily photos!

This was a fun one. I had time to experiment with reflectors, light balancing and composure, to the point of using a pointy stick to arrange the crumbs to they looked more pleasing.

Green, natural light, small is beautiful, broken.

It was fun trying different filters to get the reflections right (circular polariser) and using sheets of white paper to reflect the natural light where it had the most striking effect. And 4 crumbs is exactly the right number.

And when I finished I ate it. With a cup of coffee...well, a shame to waste it, yes?

Re: My daily photos!

Now I know for future reference how many crumbs to have for the perfect broken biscuit shot, four

Re: My daily photos!

Black, small is beautiful, still-life, floor
Two small yet..er...beautiful wizards on my black reflector on the floor. Camera inverted in between the legs of the 3Legged Thing tripod. 3 flash, two remote firing, one on camera.
Remote wireless triggered ' cos frankly I'm too old to be crawling on my kneeses to do this sort of stuff.

I could have lit it better, but frankly I was begining to ache purely through the bending and stretching whilst experimenting (and the problem with hiding the bits I'd missed when vacuuming...

Thanks for looking. Pass the Radox?
