Not such an ugly duckling....

These were taken a few days ago while in Northern Ireland. The light was fantastic and my feather friends were happy to pose. The photos are untouched (except to reduce the file size) and are as they came of the camera.





Kit 1
Nikon D80. I don't like it.
Kit 2
Fuji S9600. Cheap, but I do like it. A great bridge camera.

I will comment on picture number 1.

You could have improved the composition of this photo by cropping down the empty blue space above the swan and including the full reflection of the swan. Other than that, well done for a 1st attempt.

I have some other photos like no1 with the full reflection, but even with cropping, it seemed out of proportion due to the length of the reflection. What i did learn from taking these shots is that I don't need to zoom in as close as I did as I can crop them later. Just need to break that habit.
