Couple of macros from yesterday...

Was very pleased with these Really came out exactly as I wanted them - and I usually doubt myself and don't quite like how anything comes out - but I was very happy about these, excpet perhaps number 2... there's something al ittle not right with it, but I couldn't work out what it was :/ Any thoughts appreciated.

Re: Couple of macros from yesterday...

I love the depth of colour in these. I particularly like the last image - it's clean, well saturated, nicely exposed and the contrast is spot on. You could have composed the hoverfly lower in the image, but then you would have lost those gorgeous deep orange petals which add warmth to the image.

Re: Couple of macros from yesterday...

Thank you very much all!

I could have composed him lower - but my main reason (the colour was a factor) was that curly petal I loved that and wanted to include it!

Re: Couple of macros from yesterday...

I like them - but I think, with 2, its a colour thing - possibly becasue you loose the wing a little bit :?. Either way - they are great shots

Re: Couple of macros from yesterday...

I think you're right Tassle - I think that's what bothers me about - I still like the image a lot, but that wing does annoy me!
