Thanks guys! I was thinking of fiddling with the white balance in PS after to get them more black - but to be honest, I was happier with an exact representation of the light on the evening. It's lovely and golden here most evenings at the moment, and it looks lovely <3

To be honest, picture 2 with some judicial cropping could be the pick of the litter.
Think square rather then oblong and It would make a smashing portrait.
