Re: Down the shore

Just to let you know what I done in the editing stage.

Image 1

In Lightroom I had to crop very slightly as there is the nose of a Clumber spaniel entering stage left which is one of the pitfalls of trying to take photos with spaniels charging about.

I adjusted the exposure by about -1/2 stop, added some clarity (+40) and then converted to B&W with the inbuilt converter. It was the a matter of adjusting the different colour controls (red, green and blue) which lightens or darkens areas where the colour is prevalent.

I darkened the sky with the Graduated filter function and dialed in -1.5 stop exposure. I also had to do similar to the area to the left of the rock but only -0.75 stops.

I then sharpened the image.

Image 2

Very similar but only the sky was darkened with the graduated filter by -2 stops.

I also had to clone something in the water (don't know what it was) as it was causing a distraction.

Cheers

Steve

Re: Down the shore

I can only see one. The rest are those tiny little boxes when the pic doesn't load.
