My Son

Hey everyone

Just had a play with PS Elements this afternoon...what do you think?




I dont really know how to use PS yet but thought I did OK!

I'm only a beginner and don't know how to do it properly, however I would have added a black and white layer to the top and then erased the eye area from that top layer exposing the colour in that area underneath.

May I ask if you take you photos in RAW format or JPG? The photo is overexposed in areas such as the boy's left hand. All skin tone is gone. Try to select just the eyes & sharpen them in Elements. You did a good job of removing the skin blemishes before your B&W conversion. Keep practicing, you'll get there. After all, it looks like you have a willing & happy subject.
