Re: how to do a gallery?

Sounds a tad extreme !

What do you mean by 'the gallery' ?

I started a website (freewebs) ages ago. Think i downloaded a few pics and some cheezy music but never really put anything else into it.

http://www.freewebs.com/pipspix/thecatspage.htm

I since started with Flickr (am i allowed to mention that) because I got fed up with photobucket crashing on me. I since went 'pro' and really like it as a host plus it has some great features. I like the fact you can upload the full images and also build your own location map of the pics.

Re: how to do a gallery?

The basic Flickr account is free but it has some limitations in terms of how many pics you can upload to your account each month & how big (filesize in MB) each picture can be. With DSLR's it's a pain if you want to store the full original image. Pro (about £12 a year) does away with these limitations. I've only really just started with it so others may be better placed to describe it all. I think it's great though.

I also have a Flickr pro account (well I actually have two ). I do think Flickr is a very good hosting site.

Another limitation of the free version is that when you exceed 200 images, the earlier ones are no longer displayed.
