Thanks Moonie..I can't prefer the second picture because it breaks my heart to see such destruction.

Dark!, dark comp, dark exposure and a dark mysterious feel to it....... but I would like to see more of it. A heavy dose of the shadows/highlight filter achieved that result but as with all things photographic, each to his (her) own.
