Nice shot that first one - I like the composition.
Hint of a halo around the right hand edge of the wheel from where you've darkened the sky perhaps ?
Great view in the second one. The Manchester Evening News Arena brings back memories for me. In a previous life I worked at the Architectural comapy (ASL) that designed it although it was called the NYNEX arena back then. I've thousand of CAD images and 3D CAD models of the arena and Victoria station somewhere.

There was no pp than levels and a resize, must be something to so with that.
