The Trossachs
Took a run up to Callander today and visited various Lochs in the surrounding area. It did not seem to work for me today I really was not happy with any of my daytime images even though I had spent a fair amount of time at each place I visited, I just could not find a good spot. Heading back home, I decided to try my luck at the east side of Loch Lomond and pleased to say got a few night shots I'm happy with

I like 1 & 2. Although I'd like to see more dynamic range on the right hand side in picture two (around the tree and hillside.

I think 1 & 2 are ok....but I really do like number 3.
The still water, helped by the long exposure really does make it look like a huge, flat mirror.
Nice composition too. I have a similar composition hanging on my wall at home, but it was taken on some tropical island somewhere on the other side of the planet....not by me I may add !

Well captured and nicely composed, looks very surreal and calm, very Ikea. I think I would have been tempted to clone out the small dots on the third pic, but thats just my humble opinion.

#1 is the choice of the set for me, lovely exposure and great lead in with the rocks.
#2 is just too dark for me on the left, neither silhouette or enough detail.
#3 I like too, but the lack of symmetry throws me slightly, not down to you of course but the fella or fellaess that made it!!

Wonderful shots as usual DJ My favourite has to be the first one, I love the composition and colouring. The second I really like but find the blown water on the left slightly distracting.
I have to agree with Stanokella on the third shot, the lack of symmetry bothers me slightly, but that is nothing you could change
