Re: Few Photos, Comments?

They are very good and as a novice of many years I would say take lots of shots on your new camera before you change anything, As a novice you need to find out what you like and how you like your shots to look. I would say at first you need to please yourself, may be in the future you will wish to take images to please others but at the moment if you like it that is how it should be.

As someone has said there are alterations you can make on the cameras menus that will change the way your camera takes your shots, and they are worth experimenting with, I would suggest you change them one at a time and wait to see the effect the change makes and get yourself familiar with it before moving to the next one.

Above all enjoy taking the shots and enjoy the results.

Oh, one last thing a notebook is a good idea to record what you did so you can repeat it if you wish.

I did not quite mean that I meant more where and on which menu you find the adjustment and what effect that adjustment had. exif files are undoubtedly of a lot of help once you understand what they mean and how they can be adjusted. Right of wrong I did not think the OP had progressed that far in the understanding of the camera or digital photography, if I am wrong I am sorry but if right I know how confusing it all seems at first.

Re: Few Photos, Comments?

Jols

It might well disappear with some editing suites I wouldn't know, but the one I use as I only shoot in Jpeg retains the exif files.
